1945 Engman Brothers founded in Milwaukee, WI by Carl & Joe Engman
1956 Bob Taylor acquisition; name change to Engman-Taylor Co., Inc. (ETCO)
1963 Appleton, WI operation established
1974 Dick Star & Ed Melicher purchase company from Taylor; name remains
1978 Rockford, IL operation (Rockford Cutting Tools & Abrasives/RCTA) established
1983 Melicher retires, leaving Star as sole owner
1986 Peoria, IL operation (Jacobsen & Daw/J & D) is purchased
1987 Integrated Supply program initiated
1990 RCTA moves to present Machesney Park location
1992 Innovative Machine Tool Sales (IMTS) capital equipment unit established
1995 Appleton operation moves to new facility
1997 Beloit, WI operation (Beloit Industrial Supply) is acquired
1998 Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin expansion
1998 Southeastern USA locations established
2002 Rockford Cutting Tools & Jacobsen Daw take the name Engman-Taylor Company, Inc.
2002 ETCO Receives “Value Added Partner of the Year Award”
2005 ETCO Receives “2005 Most Progressive Distributor Award
